I wanted to give you a shout out for writing this book. I love your golden nuggets!

You not only wrote 67 golden nuggets to simplifying my trading, but 67 golden nuggets to simplify my life too. )

I am smiling while reading every nugget in this book. I added a calendar item to re-read a nugget every morning. A nugget a day will show you the way. )

There are such great life's lessons in here too. I'm learning about adversity, dating, gambling, discipline, improving my odds, how not to be revengeful, how to be skillful, how to improve my focus, how to plan actions to be successful, how to be realistic, take changes, how to look carefully when crossing the street, lol. accepting that you are not always right, don't marry losers, how to be patient, acceptance, accessing my strengths and weaknesses, learning from others mistakes, how to motivate myself, taking responsibility, how to forget excuses and make it happen, how to build confidence, how to keep from getting distracted, how to stay in the game, how to be teachable, how to learn from the professional and how to be inspired!

These are such great nuggets that tie into so many life topics. You've covered it all in my opinion Debra. Oh, and a great book on trading that can help solidify any trading plan..

This book is for new traders, not for anyone having already looked at any forex or TA materials before. It is very basic. However, the book is well written, and free of mistakes or false hopes. Therefore it is good for a completely new trader.

I was disappointed because the book does not deliver the front cover message: Real and actionable techniques for profiting from. Only the last strategy (the news) is detailed and really actionable as is, though it is very basic and well-known. It does not give much details or new things in the other chapters.

I was disappointed by the sentiment strategy. It is just not a strategy! Well, I was not expecting a strategy based on sentiment, but something really clear to establish a sentiment. The content of this chapter is very limited (extreme COT reading and news, action divergence).

The trend riding is just: find a trend line or R/S and put a limit or market order when the price is close enough, put a stop at 20 pips, exit with R/S based on your time frame and use your common sense for the rest. Also, use your common sense and sentiment bias to know if you should take the trade or not. Most people already know that. The difficult part is indeed finding the common sense and a reliable sentiment!

The fade breakout is very similar to the trend riding (extremely similar!).

The decrease volatility strategy is a triangle one, using the trend riding stuff for entry/exit.

I read this book thinking that maybe there was something. Not one useful thing in this book, just like his bogus website.

He offers 25k to reveal a trading system, yes because he has been unable to trade himself for the last ten years.

I had his option newsletter, and daytrading signals and lost money on all of them. His smart money indacator has been short since 2011. Yet, he still says it works, btw he issued a short signal June 27,2013. So That means I will go long now. Read his SCC fraud charges, he never actually traded. His book has no actual trading systems, just crap like his service.

This guy doesnt trade and is a disgrace to those of us trying to retire.

All the reviews positive are from him, He is a liar and a worthless trader.

This book reads like an infomercial for the author's "10x Trader Lifestyle (tm)" and the author's various websites. It is full of anecdotes about how the author is supposedly living the high life by golfing and surfing while his wildly-profitable automated trading systems are working in the background.

Unfortunately, the book is devoid of any significant, useful content. The book is padded with some generic, common-sense advice about how to use the TradeStation platform for backtesting your automated trading strategies (e. g. how to use the genetic optimization feature, or how to use second charts), but nothing that you can't learn from the TradeStation website itself.

The author notably fails to explain *how* to develop a successful strategy in the first place, as opposed to backtesting a strategy. Instead, the book is filled with stories about how the author supposedly developed amazing mechanical trading strategies, and provides backtested results as evidence. However, there is no explanation about how these strategies actually work, or how to develop winning strategies on your own. Instead, the book is filled with hyperlinks to one of the author's websites, presumably for a further sales pitch.

If you want to read a serious book about how to develop mechanical trading systems, there are plenty of good options. (E. g. there are two scholarly books by Richard L. Weissman, or some shorter books by David Bean with sample TradeStation strategies.) This is not one of them.

It is worth noting that the author of this book was previously found guilty by the SEC for a civil count of securities fraud. Search for "Daniel Murphy SEC" for details. His current websites seem (in my opinion) to be equal parts of snake-oil and infomercial. This book likewise seems to be a marketing vehicle, not something to help you independently to trade better.

Would You Trust This Guy?

So I was in the neighbourhood of actually looking for a seminar to attend to, free of course, not going to drop money I don't have.

I was looking at the Toronto branch of Online Trading Academy.

I was aware of them but they were a bit annoying in the sense that 2 years ago I would get phone calls to see what my progress was on my paper trade.

I signed up for their class tomorrow and I'm hoping to hear from the Legendary Phoenix Trading system master what he thinks but I take everyone else's opinion just as serious, its because he has fireworks.

I got a phone call today to confirm what I wanted to learn I said forex he laughs. At first I thought okay lets see where this guy goes, he goes off saying why trade forex? I trade stocks, bonds, and futures. Then I had to think back to the gigantor monster you guys portrayed in the school compared to the stock market. I answered to him the forex market is a little more condensed I don't like reading about thousands upon thousands of different companies to choose from and only finding out that maybe a not satisfactory percentage of them will even out let alone profit. He continues to say that the MACD and Stochastic system are garbage which I think is peculiar because referencing the Joe DiNapoli Book I read he swears by it and has the charts and graphs to prove his system but not only that Joe claims don't limit yourself this is just one of many tools to use and you shouldn't be completely dead set on the fibnodes etc alone.

So what's your take?

Should I even bother attending this class despite the free'ness of it or is it a waste of time?

Feeling brave? If you are, crack Burstein's book and have a look at how some serious big-time money works. Of course, by defintion this is not the majority of market participants so this is not a popular read.

As an arbitrageur, Burstien's book is an excellent unfair advantage to those who are able to heed its message.

As well as introducing online trading sites and brokers, there is coverage of some new trading strategies, trading systems, psychology, and money management.

Technical analysis is at least introduced but the new trading strategies given are not explained well enough even for experienced technical analysts. They'll certainly be of more harm than good to novices. These strategies seem hurriedly written - they lack detail and charts were incorrectly numbered and sometimes inappropriate.

The remainder of the book has little to offer the relatively experienced trader who would need more detail if any at all in the above mentioned topics. However, they are introduced well and are valuable for novice traders. There are lots of insightful passages taken from bulletin boards and interviews with professionals.

This book had me hooked from day one and at first I was making alot of money, I thought that I would be a millionaire within a few years. Then I started losing money, and then lost it all. But I didnt give up, I kept at it and made money again, and things were going well, and then I lost it all again. This has been going on for years.

There are several things you need to know, like phantom valley and peaks ( do not use ) and do not use inside bars or outside bars giving you false peaks and valleys, thats the main thing. Then understand when next valley ends down trend means next valley, and not the valley after next. I have spend a billion hours analyzing this concept in 25 different futures markets and came up with consistent results that blew me away after I figured out what Mr. Lindsay really was trying to do.

My strong desire and dedication to figuring this out took 20 years, but now I can it works perfectly everytime and I will finally make back all that money I lost. If anyone bought this book and has been frustrated trying to figure it out, I know what your going through. I can tell you what you need to do to make this work.

1.1 An understanding of the risks that face NHS Trusts is crucial to the delivery of healthcare services moving forward. The business of healthcare is by its nature, a high-risk activity and the process of risk management is an essential control mechanism. Effective risk management processes are central to providing Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust (SFT) Board with assurance on the framework for clinical quality and corporate governance.

1.2 The stated vision for Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is to provide and outstanding experience for every patient, delivering health care services to the local community and those referred from further afield into specialist services. To ensure that the care provided at SFT is safe, effective, caring and responsive for patients, the board must be founded on and supported by a strong governance structure.

1.3 SFT is committed to developing and implementing a risk management strategy that will identify, analyse, evaluate and control the risks that threaten the delivery of its critical success factors. The board assurance framework (BAF) will be used by the Assuring Committees and Board to identify, monitor and evaluate risks to the achievement of the strategic objectives. It will be used alongside other key management tools, such as performance and quality dashboards, and financial reports, to give the Board a comprehensive picture of the organisational risk profile.

1.4 The management of risk underpins the achievement of the Trust’s objectives. SFT believes that effective risk management is imperative to not only provide a safe environment and improved quality of care for service users and staff, it is also significant in the financial and business planning process where a successful and competitive edge and public accountability in delivering health services is required. This illustrates that risk management is the responsibility of all staff.

1.5 The risk management process involves the identification, evaluation and treatment of risk as part of a continuous process aimed at helping the Trust and individuals reduce the incidence and impacts of risks that they face. Risk management is therefore a fundamental part of both the operational and strategic thinking of every part of the service delivery within the organisation. This includes clinical, non clinical, corporate, business and financial risks.

1.6 The Trust is committed to working in partnership with staff to make risk management a core organisational process and to ensure that it becomes an integral part of the Trust philosophy and activities. The risk management strategy represents a developing and improving approach to risk management which will be achieved by building and sustaining an organisational culture, which encourages appropriate risk taking, effective performance management and accountability for organisational learning in order to continuously improve the quality of services.

To open an account in the name of a trust, the terms of the trust must not prohibit or conflict with the Terms of Business with the clearing firm. What is the procedure to open an IRA account? IRA accounts are accepted. In order to create an IRA trading account, you must have an account open with one of the trust companies that the clearing house currently works with.

Deposits and Withdrawals

When can the trading account be funded? The account can be funded once the application has been approved. An email with the funding information will be sent via email.
